This is the creation of the first post of the GERIATRIC NATION blog.

This blog, the GERIATRIC NATION, is underpinned by (1.) creating a purposeand a voice for us: “US” who have lived or are nearing the “three score and ten” number of years in this lifetime and are seeking the ‘wisdom of the heart’ that we have been working for and the ‘voice’ that we most assuredly deserve; and (2.) to fight loneliness, which new research says could be the greatest threat to public health, especially targeting the elderly.
